The 5 Processes of the 8th World Water Forum – Political, Regional, Thematic, Sustainability, and Citizens- will gather with all interested participants at the 2nd Stakeholder Consultation Meeting on 26 and 27 April in Brasilia to contribute to the design of the 8th World Water Forum’s program.
More specifically, to start the process of identification of sessions and sessions coordinators of the Thematic Framework, 26 April will be punctuated by nine break-out sessions on thematic issues (Climate, People, Development, Urban, Ecosystems, Financing, Sharing, Capacity and Governance). Interested stakeholders will exchange, discuss and propose potential subjects for sessions for each of the 32 Topics of the Thematic Framework. Likewise, on 27 April, the other processes will develop ideas collaboratively for their programs and activities.
Just prior to the meeting, the Commissions of the 8th World Water Forum will meet simultaneously in Brasilia to discuss the preparation of the event and future steps. In particular, following the meeting with the Thematic Commission, the Theme Coordination Groups will gather together with the selected Topic Coordination Groups with the purpose to start the collaboration on the Forum workplan and discuss the sessions selection process.
