Revitalizing IWRM

Share news

The World Water Council Task Force on Integrated Water Resource Management will convene a High Level Panel on “Revitalizing IWRM for the 2030 Agenda” on Tuesday, 20 March at 16:30. Framed by the “Challenge Paper” of the same name published by the Task Force, the Panel will challenge water-resource policymakers to revitalise policy for IWRM and re-think IWRM strategies in an effort to deliver strong messages from the 8th World Water Forum on how to connect pragmatically water across sectors and across the SDGs. The outputs of the discussion should be used to catalyze a sharper focus on how SDG Target 6.5 can drive transformation in sustainable water resource management, in national planning for SDG implementation, and in global-level policy dialogue and support strategies.
