FAO at the World Water Week in Stockholm

Share news

This year, the overarching theme of the World Water Week in Stockholm from 26 to 31 August is Water and Food Security. Feeding the world population in an increasingly resource-scarce environment means that we should revisit the way we produce, consume, and trade food. FAO is one of the key collaborating partners of this year’s edition and a series of events and activities related to water and food security will take place as the week unfolds. At “The Water We Eat” Exhibition, discover how much water is used to produce the food we eat every day, and that sometime we waste, in this photo and graphics exhibition put together by UN-Water and FAO in the framework of the World Water Day 2012 campaign on water and food security. The exhibition will be visible in the T-Corridor in Stockholmsmassan from 26 to 31 August. Read more on FAO’s activities in Stockholm
