Milagros Couchoud Gregori, governor alternate of the WWC for several years on behalf of the Mediterranean Water Institute (IME), was elected President of this organisation on 1 July 2001.
She offered her availability in a message to the IME members, stating “that working together, we can reach the objectives we are aiming for. In the short term, this means setting up the 1st Mediterranean Water Forum (Marrakech, Morocco, 12-13 December 2011) and participating in the Mediterranean Day during the 6th World Water Forum, Marseille 2012.”
Vice-president in IME since 1996, Mrs Milagros Couchoud always brought an active support for the works of the Institute and especially for the cause of water in the Mediterranean region. Read more on her background on the EMWIS website.
